March 11, 2026, will mark the fifteenth anniversary of the earthquake/tsunami/nuclear disaster in Japan. The disaster touched many, including Japanese-born, Lenexa-based quilter Cindy Parry. Cindy will share the story of her fiber art “Tohoku Daishinsai” (Tohoku Disaster), made as a memorial to that event.
