My husband and I moved to Missouri in 2014 from my home state of Ohio. Soon after completing the remodel of our farm house, I began teaching myself to piece and quilt on my domestic machine and started to develop a customer base. I took employment at one of the local quilt shops where I began to learn long arm quilting. Soon thereafter, I bought my own long arm and began Hawthorne Custom Quilts. I love the art of quilting and enjoy teaching others.
